Deep Red

This is an alternate trailer for 'Deep Red', or 'Profondo Rosso', (1975) that someone made, which focuses more on the atmospheric elements of the film and camera movement than the original trailer (which pretty much just shows every murder in the film). Supposedly, the US version has 22 minutes of comedy and violence cut out. Seems like cutting one or the other would have sufficed, but a lot of the comedic points are making fun of bumbling police ineptness, so I wonder if those scenes made it in the US version. One of the most humorous lines in the film is delivered by an older woman/housekeeper when she's asked who she thinks could have committed the murders. The way she delivers the line while straightening up the dining room of the deceased is a bit frantic. She replies, "A maniac. Who else? It's always a maniac, and they never catch them."

The running, mechanical doll is included in the trailer and is terrifying. But really, what kind of toy would that be for a child?

Another Miss in comics?

Ran across Miss Brenda Lopez's deviantart page. This piece stuck out. Reminds me of Raymond Pettibon for some reason.
