Emerald City Comic Con

Brea and I will be at ECCC this weekend. Fun!

In other news, we got the last pages of art for a pitch and the beginning pencils for another project yesterday. Suicide Girls issue 1 is colored, lettered, and at the printer, so should be out soon.

Last but not least, Jonathan Spies and I have been moving forward with 'Detective Warlock, Warlock Detective'! Mr.Spies' art is turning out great. Look for it to launch as a weekly web comic in April. I'm excited to get the first scene up for everyone to see. Not to give to much away but if you like the idea of a graveyard hag in a skating rink, a pony bride in a haunted Medieval Times, and a no non-sense sorcerer detective whose family name is Warlock, we think you will too.

Suicide Girls, CBR Interview

I'm working on issues 2-4 of the Suicide Girls comic with David Hahn, Cameron Stewart, Steve Niles, and Brea Grant! Just finished up writing issue 2 and things are getting dark for the ladies. And when it gets dark, narcoleptics fall asleep... I mean, clothes come off.

CBR recently did a piece on the project: here. Lest you have any doubts, check out the art!

Art has been rolling in this week for other projects as well, which I'm super-psyched about, and I haven't had to wield my crowbar against any cat-sized rats in my apartment for over a week now. All the same, I'm looking for tickets for a last minute trip to Emerald City Comic Con!
