A lot of artists and writers have lived in Ft. Greene, which is more or less where I live (though technically I stay in the nebulous Navy Yards). I'm probably only in this neighborhood for a few more weeks, so I thought I would try to throw some history of the neighborhood up here starting with most recent and working my way back (as all honest histories are written, or honestly written).

This is a bit more contemporary, but, evidently, El-P lives around here:
